| The Gizmo Project Offers Free Phone Calls; |
Gizmo Project is a free download, just download the software to your computer and start making free internet calls to other Gizmo Project members.
Do you ever have to pay for internet calls? No. Again, Gizmo Project is free. There is no membership fee. The download is free. Where are the strings? That?s the point, there are none, all internet calls are free. |

| All iCall Calls To US & Canada Are Free; |
| iCall is offering a web based phone system that offers free outgoing calls to anywhere in the United States and Canada. This service also includes free incoming calls from anywhere in the world. And, to top it all off, iCall even gives you a free personalized voice mail box. That's a pretty good deal for free. |
| Notes: iCall, like most other free calling services, does charge for international calls, so check out the rates before you call Timbuktu or Antarctica. |
|
| Jajah Offers Free Member to Member Calling Worldwide; |
Jajah is an interesting service. It lets you go online, or on your web enabled phone, and enter your phone number and the number you are calling and press a "Call" Button.
At that point, the system calls your phone, and when you pick up, it calls the phone you wanted to call. Now you and your friend are talking over the internet, via your regular phones, and no matter where you are in the world, if you are both Jajah members, the call is free. |
| Notes: Remember, there is a charge for calling non-Jajah members. Prices range from 2.8¢ per minute in the U.S., 3.1¢ to China, all the way up to 7.6¢ to call India. |

| Magic Jack; |
I'm not sure this service really qualifies as free, since you have to buy the MagicJack box, but at $39.99 it's shouldn't break you. The Magic Jack has a USB jack on one end and a plug in for a regular telephone line on the other. Just plug it into a USB port on your computer, plug your phone into the other end, and you are all set. It's really that easy! |
| Notes: They state right on their site that it is OK to use the Magic Jack from overseas to call back to the United States, and that all of those calls are free. How cool is that? |
